Dying To Live

After the big success of their latest single SURVIVOR, here is strike two with the title track of their upcoming album DYING TO LIVE. Pure Metal served loud! If you had to choose three attributes for this young German band, they would most likely be young, wild and metal! Musically located somewhere in the melting pot of oldschool Teutonic Metal with old Helloween, Running Wild or Grave Digger, DEFENDER are simply fun to listen. And anyone who thinks that this music must sound old and hackneyed these days has for sure never listened to the band! DYING TO LIVE will be out March 21st, 2025 on CD, vinyl and digital 🤘.

DYING TO LIVE
(Music & lyrics: DEFENDER)

Welcome tonight's armageddon
To the night I will arise
Following the death of the world
When a light punches a hole through the skies

Now you listen to what I say
Death isn't the end, it's another way
Striving for life is the only thing
No matter what, I'm not giving in

Dying
I am dying to live
It's my desire
I am dying, I am dying to live
I found a way to come back from hell

Beware the one who dared to risk
He is taking life on in storm and mist
He goes on until the end of time
Becoming life and death entwined

Dying
I am dying to live
It's my desire
I am dying, I am dying to live
I found a way to come back from hell

Dying to live forever
Dying to live forever
