About SERAIAH:
Formed in Indiana in 1985, SERAIAH quickly established itself as one of Midwest’s most exciting and ambitious metal bands. By the summer of 1988, the group had outgrown the regional club circuit, arriving at the legendary Metal Fest in Decatur, Illinois with a full-scale stage production and a confidence that matched its musicianship. Sharing the stage with Bride, Sacred Warrior, and Vengeance, SERAIAH delivered a breakthrough performance that earned the band a recording contract with Pure Metal Records and firmly established them among the premier rising acts in Christian hard rock & heavy metal.
When Carnival World was originally released in 1990, it displayed a band firing on all cylinders. Blistering guitar work, soaring vocal melodies, arena-sized choruses, and an unapologetic swagger combined into an album that many fans still regard as one of the hidden gems of the era. Frequently compared to the raw energy and infused attack of early Mötley Crüe, SERAIAH blended melody and muscle into a sound that remains every bit as compelling today as it was more than three decades ago.
Now, thirty-six years later, Carnival World returns in its most complete form ever. The definitive edition has been completely remixed by Jeffrey Gardner of Plus One Audio and remastered by Rob Colwell to deliver a bigger, more dynamic listening experience while preserving the spirit and intensity of the original recordings.
The landmark reissue has been meticulously remixed and remastered, presented in an expansive archival package featuring striking all-new artwork, a deluxe 36-page booklet, and collectible Blood Moon Red vinyl housed in a premium gatefold jacket. The booklet showcases more than 100 previously unpublished photographs from the band's personal archives alongside an extensive historical essay by acclaimed music historian and longtime friend of Eonian Records, Arttie Parker. The CD edition is further enhanced by seven exclusive live soundboard recordings, including a blistering guitar solo from Quinton Gibson and bassist Tracy Ferrie's first-ever recorded performance with SERAIAH, years before his acclaimed tenure with Stryper and Boston.
Fans can explore the band's earliest years even further with the companion release, DEMOlish This, an archival collection featuring SERAIAH's earliest demo recordings. Complete with its own deluxe booklet and an abundance of rare photographs, the collection offers an intimate look at the songs, rehearsals, and creative foundation that started the band.
