SVNTARER

Svntarer is a metal duo based in Salzburg, Austria consisting of guitarist/vocalist Marko Kolac and drummer Sebastian Hübner. Their music draws from black, death, and post metal, merging these influences into a sound that is both intense and distinct.

The band introduced themselves with the digital release of their debut album The Ardent Weight of Thoughts in 2022, followed by the single Burnt Out Into Oblivion in 2023. While the early material leaned heavily into bleak, melancholic, and depressive atmospheres, the new songs take a more direct and sharpened approach, balancing aggression with atmosphere.
