KARMIAN
KARMIAN, originally formed in 2005 as "When the Storm Broke", faced early challenges and lineup changes, splitting in 2009. In 2011, founding members Andrea Baraldi, Mauro Leone and Nicholas Badiali revived the band with Andrea Bertolazzi, adopting a melodic death metal sound and renaming the band Karmian. They released the EP "Ways of Death" in 2012.
Following several gigs in Italy and Europe, Karmian released their full-length album "Surgere et Cadere" in 2018. Post-pandemic Leone left the band. With new members Luca Marmi (Unbirth, Inverecund and more) and Michele Perla, the band supported Venom Inc. on tour and released "Live at Slaughter Club" in 2022. Karmian has also performed with Dying Fetus and Mortuary Drape, headlined the first "Under Metal Flag Festival" and received consistently great live report reviews.
In 2026, Karmian will release "Horror Vacui", a concept album exploring the psychological and existential void driving real Italian murderers to their crimes - a dark and visceral reflection on human fragility and the horror of emptiness.
