IMPVLSE is a German progressive metalcore band that stands out by combining the brutal intensity of metalcore with cinematic atmospheres and expansive, emotive songwriting. Hailing from Nuremberg, the band formed in the mid-2010s (first rehearsals in 2015, officially active with a vocalist from around 2017) and built a sound that bridges heavy breakdowns, complex rhythms and ambient textures.
