Damon Systema is a melodic death metal band hailing from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2008 by guitarist and producer Akis Pastras, known for his work with Dexter Ward and Nightfall, the band initially began as an instrumental project. After a hiatus due to other musical commitments, Damon Systema was revitalized during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the creation of their debut album, "Ate," released on January 3, 2025.

"Ate" is a concept album that delves into themes from ancient Greek mythology, specifically the cycle of Hybris, Ate, Nemesis, and Tisis, representing arrogance, calamity, divine retribution, and punishment. The album's six tracks blend mythological allegory with powerful riffs and haunting melodies, offering a modern exploration of humanity's internal struggles with self-destructive tendencies.
