LYRICS
Lean in close, I have something to tell you
if you have a moment to spare
but let me first check prevailing winds
'cause there's something strange in the air

It's kind of hard not to notice the changes
our freedom isn't so ironclad
It's no surprise that so many people
are wondering if our world has gone mad

There is a growing list
of things we dare not discuss
touching on one of them
will surely invite animus

In is out and up is down
I feel our world spinning all around
Left is right and pass is fail
We're going off the rails

Who is it they think they are fooling
slanting things in obvious ways?
If the truth is so damn apparent
then let it see the light of the day

Our sense-making institutions
narrow in a radical way
what is and what is not
acceptable to say

In is out and up is down
I feel our world spinning all around
Left is right and pass is fail
We're going off the rails
We're going off the rails tonight

There is a growing list
of things we dare not discuss
touching on one of them
will surely invite animus
