About ALIS - A Life in Scars:
ALIS is no longer just one person. Today, ALIS stands for A Life In Scars: a band, a shared
identity, and a collective story.
ALIS is an alternative rock/metal band from Rome, Italy, blending powerful riffs, emotional
melodies, and modern alternative influences into a distinctive and intense sound.
Originally born as the solo vision of singer and songwriter Alessia Picchiotti, the project
has evolved into a full band, writing and performing original music across Italy and
preparing to expand internationally.
The journey began with the EP DEMONE (2023), followed by the full-length album
ELEVEN (2024). The band is currently preparing to unveil new music, marking the
beginning of a bold new chapter with a heavier, darker, and more powerful sound.
ALIS combines raw energy with deep emotional intensity.
Their music explores themes of
inner conflict, personal demons, rebirth, resilience, war, social injustice, and the growing
emptiness of modern humanity.
