ROSE TATTOO 'Bad Boy For Love'
The Single & Album: "Bad Boy for Love" was originally released as a standalone single in October 1977. It was later included on their self-titled debut album, Rose Tattoo, released in November 1978 (which was renamed Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw in some international markets).
The track became a massive underground cult success in the UK and Europe, laying down the blueprint for the gritty, street-level hard rock of the 1980s.
Rose Tattoo is famously known as a "musician's band"—their raw, slide-guitar-heavy blues-rock and fiercely tatted, aggressive look heavily impacted the next generation of hard rock and heavy metal icons.
Heavyweights like Guns n Roses were huge fans of the band and Axl personally asked the band to reform in 1992 to open for them on their Use Your Illusion Australian tour. Other influential bands who loved the Tatts include Mötley Crüe, AC/DC, Motorhead and Iron Maiden.
