“At heart, we’ve always felt moved and empowered when creating with heavy sounds and themes in our music, and this song is no exception. “Top of the Bottom” explores humanity’s common obsession with the idea of sin, self-hatred, and cult mentalities. It felt extremely cathartic to write this track and to continue expressing ourselves in a metal soundscape with some newfound techniques and production methods.”
