LÝSIS – Unsaid
The first single from our upcoming debut album, out this fall.
Unsaid is the first single we’re releasing, together with a strong music video. I wrote the lyrics as a reflection from a deathbed – a memory of something you regret, and something you grieve.
In this case, it’s about a relationship, where the main character carries shame and guilt over getting into something without really understanding why. A painful realization in hindsight – questioning why you didn’t know better from the very beginning.
Unsaid is, at its core, a form of grief processing. I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling of wishing you had known better – both for your own sake and for the other person’s. A wish that maybe you should have never met at all.
