The second single "Self = Dark Side" off the upcoming album “Equation II: The Antithesis of Life and Free Will” album. This track has more groovy and old school approach with classic melodic death metal chorus. The lyrics explore the collapse of identity through endless desire.
A cycle of consumption, illusion, and decay — where wanting never ends, and satisfaction only deepens the void.
This is my favorite Deathmetalvoicer performance to date, it's exactly how I imagined in my head. Can't thank him enough!
“Equation II: The Antithesis of Life and Free Will” is going to be released on the 12th June 2026 via Not-Even-Music, Metal Ör Die and Pest Records.
Each song-title on the album continues on the path of being part of the “anti-life equation” originally introduced by DC Comics. It’s a mathematical formula or ultimate weapon, which enables its master to take away one’s free will - a great metaphor for some political processes going in our world right now.
