Mushroom Cloud Ecstasy is a psych-stoner track inspired by the timeless theme of war and by humanity’s ruthless thirst for power. The sick need to prevail - fulfilled by bloodshed - is portrayed in the song as an addiction to an adrenaline-boosting drug that clouds the mind in the pursuit of a distorted, insane ecstasy. An addiction that, if left untreated, could eventually lead to a nuclear holocaust. As Albert once said: “I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but I know that World War IV will be fought with stones and sticks."

Mushroom Cloud Ecstasy è un brano psych-stoner ispirato al tema senza tempo della guerra e alla spietata sete di potere da parte dell’essere umano. La necessità malata di prevalere, lubrificata dallo spargimento di sangue, è dipinta nel brano come una dipendenza da una droga adrenalinica che annebbia la mente nel processo di ricerca di un’estasi squilibrata. Una dipendenza che se non curata rischia di scatenare un olocausto nucleare. Come disse Albert: “Non so con quali armi si combatterà la Terza Guerra Mondiale, ma so che la Quarta si farà con pietre e bastoni”.
