The years pass by
I wonder why
I hope you feel the same
I know I’ve changed
Self-isolate
It’s easier this way

I got a knot in my chest
like a scar that won't fade
And I’m scared that you don't feel the same way
I'd rather lose than live afraid

Out of the blue
We act like we’re strangers
Nostalgia fell out of favour
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)
Out of the blue
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)

We’re split in two
Too much too soon
Maybe that’s how it’s meant to be
I know I’ve changed
Self-isolate
It’s easier this way

Out of the blue
We act like we’re strangers
Nostalgia fell out of favour
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)
Out of the blue
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)

I got a knot in my chest
Like a scar that won't fade
I'd rather lose than live afraid

(When silence fell)
(When silence fell)
When silence fell
It made me hate myself
And I’m afraid you hate me too

And now you’re out of my head
And now you’re out of my head
And now you’re out of my head
Now you’re out of my head

Out of the blue
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)
Out of the blue
(And now you’re out of my head)
(And now you’re out of my head)
