Näkki

Näkki is here! As a namesake and opening track of the EP, this song blends a mixture of catchy melodies, chunky riffs and colossal chanting into a refreshing tonic that is perfect to enjoy on a sunny summer day! Every summer drink is best served cold and therefore, the lyrics are sung in the frigid Finnish language and tell of a mythical creature that drags unprepared swimmers to their freezing doom!

Halki aikojen sana varoituksen
Rauta aina kannossas' rantaan astues'
Sitä pelkää vettehinen

Vetten alla Näkki vaanii saalistaan
Vie alle pinnan, ahtaa säkkiin
Hyi, huoran poika, Näkki

Sä vetten vartija, astu esiin piilostas
Näkki maalle, minä veteen
Suojaloitsun, suojaeleen teen

Syvyyksistä hyiset kädet kurottavat sinuun

Raahaa alle mustan täkin
Järven pohjaan, uhriks' Näkin
