Artist Bio: When guitarist Pete (Huuto!, ex-Dead Fun, ex-Turun Romantiikka) realized he’d written a dozen new songs without the right kind of singer to perform them with, he took a leap into the unknown and decided to sing them himself.
All he needed was a bunch of rockers to back him up in a band that got its name from Jack Kerouac’s legendary novel Dharma Bums.
Helsinki based rockers Edu (ex-Bad Valentines, ex-Plastic Tears), Jussi (ex-Vanity Ink), and Ölli (Jo Below, Mönni) listened to the demos and immediately jumped on board.
Being raised by punk and being gentlemen in life they started calling themselves dandy punks.
The band is moving forward full speed!
The first rehearsal took place in November 2023 and by June 2024 their debut album was recorded.
Their debut album 'Ex-Generation Superstars' was released in November 2024.
Second album 'Nightmares & Broken Dreams' will be released April 2026.
