Released on Earth Day, "The End Song" centers on the idea of an ending (not through a sudden collapse or catastrophe), but through continuation. Across the song, the world moves toward its final moments while daily life remains intact: the last expedition, the last migration, the final crowd leaving without return. All around the earth. We want to show the beauty and what is going to be lost.
The track portrays the end as something already underway, unfolding quietly across the planet..
By releasing the song on Earth Day, we frame the track as a reflection on a planet approaching its final phase, a moment where nothing dramatic happens, yet everything is coming to an end.

"The End Song" is a conceptual music video built around scientific assessments of the planet's changing conditions, interpreted through music, lyrics and imagery.
The video is composed entirely of stock imagery from globally recognizable places, the kinds of images we typically use to portray the beauty of our planet.
With the single "The End Song", NATTRADIO continues its nightly exploration of the thoughts and reflections that surface during the quietest hours of the night, a space where worries, memories and unanswered questions often return.
Released as a standalone single following the album "The Longest Night", the track continues the project's nocturnal reflections on the world we inhabit.

THE END SONG
An icebreaker's oneway journey in the Arctic Ocean
Morning joggers at Copacabana start their final race.
At Cape Horn, the lighthouse weathers its last storm
In Torneå, the snow says farewell to an elder on a sled
The lights go out in the port of Shanghai
On the other side of the harbor, faith fades away
By the northern stream, fishermen begin to reel in their lines
An era ends with the pint at the pub in Dublin
On Everest's slopes, where snow piles heavy and high,
a final expedition reaches for the sky
An irreversible overdose at Tokyo's subway station
At the Pyramids of Giza, death is in contemplation
Lady Liberty has welcomed her last to the land of the free
The Serengeti ceases the migration of antelopes
The Mumbai cinema screens its final show
Along the Trans-Siberian Railway, dreams find their final refuge
In the distant Maldives, the beaches witness the sunset
In Dubai, a final deal is sealed
And on Sydney's cricket pitch, the crowd exits and doesn't come back
