Artist Bio: Bellwether Sirens came up in 2020, born out of the particular kind of restlessness that Northwest Arkansas breeds and a global lockdown made worse.
They play loud, scrappy rock that owes something to the post-punk of the late ’70s and the alternative grit of the ‘90s — but it doesn’t sound like a history lesson. It sounds like right now.
They built their reputation the hard way: local stages, word of mouth, no shortcuts. Two guitars, a locked-in rhythm section, and enough volume to rattle something loose.
