“Futile” is the first new music since the band’s acclaimed debut Welcome to Hell Valley and delivers a powerful statement on modern conflict, carried by groove driven heaviness, massive riffs and roaring vocals.
The band explains:
“At times it seems that conflict is a necessary part of the human experience… This song seeks to raise awareness regarding the issues of modern war and the price that’s being paid. We do this the best way we know how, with thundering drums, distorted guitars and roaring vocals. Make riffs not war.”
At the same time, Hell Valley High confirm that a new full length album is currently in the works, with recording sessions planned for September 2026 with producer Pieter Kloos (Motorpsycho, Dool, Komatsu, 7Zuma7, The Devil’s Blood).
Blending heavy rock, stoner and grunge influences, the band continues to build on the sound established with Welcome to Hell Valley, pushing forward with thick riffs, pounding rhythms and memorable hooks.
“Futile” marks the beginning of a new chapter and offers a first glimpse into what’s coming next from Hell Valley High.
