On February 27, Finnish power metal / melodic death metal squad Gladenfold releases their 4th album “Soulbound”, a concept album loaded with epic grandeur, haunting melancholy, blistering aggression, and soaring melodies, all overflowing with raw emotion. Marking a bold leap forward in their musical journey, the band delivers their most ambitious, catchiest and undeniably their most power metal-oriented album to date.
Together with album release, Gladenfold releases a music video for “Ghostlike”, the song that serves as the centerpiece of the album, setting the stage for the entire concept, both musically and thematically. In “Ghostlike”, the band proudly wears its influences on its sleeve. In that sense, it is a tribute to Gladenfold’s favourite power metal albums from the early 2000s.
