Official video for "Emptiness" from Unreal City's upcoming EP, Blood Memory, due out March 6, 2026 on WAR Records.
Directed by Johnny Hopkinson / Modest Director
Unreal City is a hardcore band that was forged in the cold, gray weight of Pittsburgh, a place whose bleak industrial past still shapes the sound and spirit of everything they create. Featuring members of Integrity and Eternal Sleep, the band released their debut LP, Cruelty of Heaven, in 2020 on Closed Casket Activities before vocalist Joseph Sanderson departed for Southeast Asia, where he became a three-time Muay Thai champion.
Recorded with the late Bill Korecky at the legendary Mars Recording Studio and paired with artwork by the late Stephen Kasner, their new EP, Blood Memory, marks the band’s full return. Taking inspiration from Cleveland’s infamous “Holy Terror” sound, Blood Memory combines the influences of Integrity and Ringworm and pummels you like a steamroller - imagine Slayer played at half speed with a NYHC swag.
Blood Memory arrives March 6, 2026 on WAR Records.

Lyrics:
Cessation of hostility
Just let it die
Have you lost your spine?
As long I’m alive
It’ll never die
Have you forgot
All the threats and plots?
Yet I’m still here
You swore me fake
But I’ll never break
Resumption of hostility
You must know
All your menace hollow
As long I’m alive
It’ll never die
Have you forgot
All the threats and plots?
Yet I’m still here
Time reveals truth
Cowardice
Is how we canonize you
