"'Batter The Power' is a classic heavy shuffle with a typical true metal riff and an anthem-like sing-along chorus reminiscent of 'old times.' The apparent monotony of the verses is put into perspective by Udo's and Peter's accusatory vocals. Manuela puts the icing on the cake with her solo interludes in the last choruses, while Mathias' extraordinary solo guitar work doesn't care about any conventions. Why should it?"
