Note from the band: This time, the message is deliberately not subtle. Just a clear statement: there are still far too many women in this world who live under oppression, who are t*rtured or even worse. And you do not have to look far away to see how the machinery of patriarchy keeps shaping everyday life, laws, and violence in many countries, in many forms. This song is not about religion as an idea. It is about calling out the systems and “traditions” that protect cruelty and normalize inequality.
