When this is over, dead, and gone
I plan to haunt you from beyond
Slip through doorways with no key
Rest in shadows as you sleep

Wait, I see it in your face
They’re singin’ you last rites
And vanishing with grace
Oh, now I’m thinking wait
I see you at the gates
You’re on the other side

Hey, this is not the end
Hey, I won’t ruin the suspense
Hey, darlin’, this is not the end
Hey, let the seance begin

Don’t think twice ‘bout how we lived
It’s true that only God forgives
At least there’s one thing we both know
We’re still connected by the soul

Wait, I see it in your face
You’ve moved toward the light
You’re gone without a trace
And now I’m thinking wait
We’ll take a different shape
Home on the other side

Hey, this is not the end
Hey, there’s no reason to repent
Hey, darlin’, this is not the end
Hey, let the seance begin

Whisper my name into the dark you see
You are the echo in my heart
Don’t waste your tears on what you think we lost
Some lines are never truly crossed

Hey, this is not the end
Hey, don't you ruin the suspense
Hey, darlin’, this is not the end
Hey, let the seance begin
