Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
He shouted “Captain, we’re going down!
Engines have been compromised,
And our stern is pulling us around,
Into a tailspin!”
“UES Contact Light - abandon ship!”

He turned and nodded,
Acknowledged the faceless figure
Who stared out the bow

The thought crossed his mind,
As he hurtled through the atmosphere
Onto the planet, unknown.
“No star map I’ve seen had this here,
What awaits us down below?”

(Chorus)
Fading into the horizon
Like a black star
Devouring
All gravity
And collapsing in on itself
A revenant, King of Nothing

And his music was electric

(Verse 2)
He persevered through void and storm
Traversing teleportal roads

But none would carry him home

(Bridge)
With visions, ecstasy and strides
The hooks of heresy deny your claim
Oh Providence, thou art thy name

(Pre-Chorus)
… And his music was electric

(Chorus)
Fading into the horizon
Like a black star
Devouring
All gravity
And collapsing in on itself
A revenant, King of Nothing
