Beating In My Chest

«Beating In My Chest» channels the rush of Lizzy Devine’s L.A. years, a roaring mix of nostalgia, grit and heart straight from the Sunset Strip- It’s basically my love letter to L.A.

Lyrics:

Wild hearts in a city of sin
We were legends in our own skin
Every night, like a final breath
Living loud, laughing close to death
Met my heroes on the Sunset Strip
Held a crowded Whisky in my grip
hit the road in a beat up van
Hollywood’s where it all began

It still echoes in my veins

Beating in my chest – Los Angeles
Beating in my chest – Los Angeles
Give me one more ride, give me one more high
Give me one more reason not to say goodbye
Beating in my chest - Los Angeles

Broke the rules with my good friend Kin
Painted dreams on our reckless skin
Every thrill had a price to pay
But we’d do it all again today

Never ever coming back
Never ever, never ever
Coming back again
