Today we proudly present the second single from our upcoming 10-year anniversary EP. Månegarm, much like Wardruna, has played a significant role in influencing Hindarfjäll throughout the years, and we wish to honour them with a cover of their song “Blodörn”.

Månegarm was one of the bands that led me straight into the world of black and folk metal, as well as my fascination for our history and culture. Everything from their heavy tracks to their acoustic folk songs has influenced me since the age of fourteen. When the idea of making covers for our anniversary was sown, Månegarm was the very first band that came to mind.
I would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the tragedy that struck Månegarm just a week ago. Their rehearsal space, along with all their equipment, was destroyed in a fire. I sincerely hope that more people will join in supporting the band during this difficult time.
