The song reflects on being betrayed, the devastation, the emotional collapse, and the longing for answers about why things end the way they do.
The music video captures this central idea through the conflict between two sides, represented by two characters: good and evil, symbolizing the inner struggle that arises in difficult situations. The two main female characters (queens) were inspired by famous historical figures of the 1500s: Mary, Queen of Scots, and Queen Elizabeth I, Queen of England and Ireland.
