Wax Mekanix is a Philadelphia‑based heavy rock project by Waxim “Wax” Mekanix—veteran musician, songwriter, performer, and producer. Drawing on decades of experience, Wax’s music delivers a powerful fusion of hard rock, grunge, classic rock, folk, and psychedelic tones. His latest material—such as the "Psychotomimetic" (2023) and “Mobocracy” (2020) albums—offers bold, high‑energy tracks full of snarling riffs, driving rhythms, and sharp lyrical commentary .
Wax describes his music as “high‑velocity folk,” though it’s far from acoustic—it's an edgy, multi‑dimensional rock experience crafted for modern America
