The Violent Hour is a new hard rock project led by Carla Harvey, formerly of Butcher Babies, in collaboration with her fiancé, Charlie Benante, the drummer of Anthrax. Their music blends elements of modern hard rock with influences from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), resulting in a sound that is both powerful and emotionally resonant. Their debut single, "Sick Ones," features a dynamic guitar solo by John 5 and serves as an anthem about cutting toxic people out of one's life.
