THE FORESHADOWING

The Foreshadowing began as a concept project in 1998 by guitarist Alessandro Pace (aka Alex Vega) and later crystallised into a full band around 2005 in Rome with the addition of vocalist Marco Benevento. Their sound is a modern interpretation of classic doom/gothic metal, combining slow-to-mid tempo heavy riffs, melancholic clean vocals, keyboards and ambient textures. They draw comparisons to bands like My Dying Bride, Katatonia and Anathema.
