/somnolence./ is a metal project hailing from Poland. The music is absolutely brilliant! I was captivated by the build-up here, which truly showcases a mastery of sound, particularly through its progressive, hardcore, and Djent structures. While the music reflects remarkable influences from extreme metal, it also possesses a melodic quality that effortlessly captures any listener’s attention. The vocals demonstrate a diverse range, with each carrying its own unique strength. I appreciated the seamless transitions, especially since many new bands today struggle with achieving such smooth vocal shifts. Additionally, the bridge is simply marvelous and quite unexpected.
