Lovelorn Dolls is a Belgian gothic rock / dark wave duo from Brussels, blending haunting melodies, heavy guitars, and rich synth-driven soundscapes. Their style is often described as “creepy cute”—merging dark atmospheres with a playful, visual flair.

Fronted by Kristell Lowagie (Ladyhell) on vocals and creative vision, and paired with Bernard Daubresse (Corpus Christi) on instrumentation and production, Lovelorn Dolls crafts music that sits at the intersection of gothic rock, electronic, and symphonic elements.

Since forming in 2010, they have released several EPs and full-length albums, including The House of Wonders (2013), Japanese Robot Invasion (2014), Darker Ages (2018), and Deadtime Stories (2024). Their sound draws comparisons to bands like Lacuna Coil, The Birthday Massacre, and Theater of Tragedy—but with a distinct identity rooted in emotional contrast and visual aesthetic.
