HUNGRS

Hungrs is a metal duo formed by father and son, Marcos and Lucca Hunger, from Atibaia, São Paulo (Brazil).

In 2024, at the age of 16, Lucca composed and recorded all the instruments — drums, guitars, and bass — for their debut album (Simbiose, released on February 10, 2025). Marcos writes the lyrics and provides the vocals.

A bit of history:

Back in his early 20s, Marcos formed an original band called Autofobia in the city of Santos (SP). They played a few local shows and wrote half a dozen songs, but the band didn’t have time to take off — life responsibilities came calling, and the group disbanded.

Years later, wanting to encourage his eldest son, he suggested they start a band as a way to explore their creativity through songwriting. And that’s how Hungrs began.

Recording at home, Lucca works on composing and playing all the instrumental parts. Then Marcos listens and, as inspiration strikes, begins writing lyrics.
