Kokeshi are a Tokyo-based blackgaze / post-hardcore band that merge crushing aggression with ethereal, melancholic atmospheres, creating a sound both brutal and beautiful. Their music moves between blackened screams, hardcore breakdowns and sweeping shoegaze/post-rock textures — a haunting, emotionally intense ride through pain, hope, and catharsis.
