Hatterson emerged in Moscow on April 4, 2010, with the release of their demo Illegal Freedom — a raw collection of songs issued through the underground label Death Records and spread as a limited promo CD. From the start, the band experimented with the nu-metal formula, mixing aggressive riffs, experimental textures and sharp lyrics that carried the rage of a generation.

Over the years, Hatterson’s sound evolved but the core stayed the same: raw power, Moscow-born grit, and a refusal to compromise. Their influences include Korn, System of a Down, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Ill Niño, Soulfly, Staind, Pleymo and more — bands that shaped the heavy alternative scene worldwide. Hatterson stands in that lineage, while carrying their own voice forward.
