DISTANT is a transcontinental deathcore band originating from Rotterdam, Netherlands, and Bratislava, Slovakia. Formed in 2014, the band has carved a niche in the extreme metal scene by blending hyper-dissonant downtempo deathcore, slamming brutal death metal, and beatdown elements. Their music is characterized by relentless heaviness, intricate storytelling, and a richly developed fictional universe known as Tyrannotophia.
