Band Name: Die Legende von Nord
Origin: Hann. Münden, Germany
Genre: A potent blend of groove metal, medieval metal, heavy metal, and Deutschrock – sometimes self‑described as “hard, cold and loud” .
Formation: Founded in 2014 (first rehearsals in October 2015) in Hann. Münden, the band channels dark German‑language horror‑stories through powerful riffs, atmospheric stage presence with masks and cloaks, and a strong theatrical flair .
Musical Style: Their sound is driven by pounding riffs and energetic bass lines, fronted by gritty, charismatic vocals. Lyrics explore mortality, fear, bizarre events, and shadowed aspects of the soul—with no promise of happy endings .
