Bölthorn

Bölthorn — a name carved in the bones of Norse mythology — was forged in 2015 as a Death/Viking Metal war machine by guitarist and composer Ivan (Ironcross). From the very beginning, the band also featured Rob on guitar and Drake on vocals. The chemistry between the three ignited instantly, unleashing a sound both crushing and deeply melodic — fierce enough to break free from the studio and conquer the stage.

In 2018, Bölthorn released their debut album Across the Human Path through Broken Bones Records, recorded at AUDIOCORE Studio in Fontevivo (Parma). Shortly after its release, Rob left the band for personal reasons, leaving behind a void and the beginning of a long and relentless rebuilding process. That battle was ultimately won with the arrival of Stefano (guitar), Beppe (bass), and Emiliano (drums), forging a new and unbreakable lineup.

Stefano took part in the recording of the band’s second studio album before laying down his axe and leaving the band for personal reasons. In July, Jessica joined Bölthorn, bringing fresh fire and marking the rise of a new era within the band.
