Autonomy is a brutal death-metal band from Warwick, Rhode Island — known for raw aggression, uncompromising heaviness, and a sound rooted deeply in old-school extreme metal tradition. From their formation in 2009, the band delivered intense, no-holds-barred music defined by relentless blast-beats, crushing riffs, and guttural vocals, aiming straight for the darkest corners of the metal underground.
Although their official status is listed as inactive, their legacy remains through underground releases and compilation appearances that cemented their place in the brutal death-metal community. Autonomy stands as a grim reminder of metal’s most extreme potential — unfiltered, visceral, and unapologetically brutal.
