JASMENO Announces New Album Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms for September Release

By:

Progressive metal project JASMENO has announced that its second full-length album, Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms, will be released on September 11, 2026, nearly four years after the band’s previous release.

Arriving nearly four years after the band’s previous release, the new album consists of six compositions spanning almost 50 minutes. Rather than presenting a collection of standalone songs, Assemblage of Cinematic Idioms is built as a complete listening experience, combining progressive metal with cinematic soundscapes, atmospheric textures and experimental arrangements.

According to the band, the album explores the idea of musical assemblage—bringing together different stylistic influences and artistic voices into a unified whole. The result is a record that moves between heavy guitar-driven passages, ambient synthesizers, piano and layered vocal performances while maintaining a consistent musical identity throughout.

The album introduces American vocalist Brian Gawaski, whose lead performance represents a significant addition to JASMENO’s evolving sound. The core lineup is completed by Slavomir Nietupski synthesizers, piano and programming, Michał Grall \(ex\-Sinister, Unblessed Divine\) on guitars, and Artur Olkowicz Art of Illusion, Mechanism on bass.

Several notable guest musicians also appear on the record, including Bart Krysiuk \(Patriarkh, ex\-Batushka\), Marc Grewe \(ex\-Morgoth, Insidious Disease\), Snorre Ruch Thorns, Satyricon and Yusaf Parvez Dødheimsgard/DHG.

Mixing and mastering duties were handled by Jakub Mańkowski, whose previous work includes Behemoth, Jordan Rudess and Me and That Man.
